Dining Design

Thought I might share some Dining spaces that resonated with me.. you know that feeling when you see an image of a room and it just ticks all the boxes. These are  not any one particular style, but there are elements in all of them that I love.

Belle Magazine Danish Apartment

This contemporary space is light and clean… The contrast of the modern dining setting and the traditional panelled doors and gorgeous striped armchair give the room a timeless elegance.  Image via Belle magazine

Something about this upholstered dining nook just grabbed my attention. The interesting lines created by the architecture surrounding the nook , the wonderful natural light and of course that Red Pendant light…. the lighting does make such a difference to a dining space.  Image via onarchitecturesite

Love the simplicity of this space. The organic shapes of both the table and amazing pendant light. Understated and very classy. image via trenddecor.

What a brave and beautiful use of colour! This room is probably a little too ornate for me, however, I really love the use of colour and also those very unusual two seater upholstered chairs – something you don’t see very often. image via homeklondike.

More colour, but this time in that clean almost retro style that I love. The light is the standout piece of the room  while the individually coloured chairs tie in perfectly with the artwork. Image via desiretoinspire

Eclectic and also a little bit retro, this space is fun, fresh and relaxed. A mix of chair designs and clever use of  tones in blue/green , make this dining area very original. Image via inspriationforhomeblogspot.

Dining rooms are a great space to put your time and effort into designing , mainly because they are often one of the main spaces you choose to share with your friends and family.  Creating the room that you reflects you plus also creates a wow in your home should be fun . If you have a fabulous dining space, please share it with me.
