Just browsing thru the most recent Home Magazines, always looking for those rooms and objects that just jump out from the page to me….. looking particularly at kitchens this morning and was amazed at the choices available for the kitchen splashback.
Thought I’d share some with you….
I love this one ; The clear glass splashback is backed with this stunning black and white fabric image from Fabric Studio.
The crisp, clean lines for a contemporary kitchen. I love the subtle grey splashback, combined with the stainless steel and frosted overhead cupboards.
Fabulous bespoke glass splash back by Steve Robinson. This look isn’t for the faint hearted, but really is a warm and welcoming feature above this cooker.
More colour, this time bold terracotta red against cool crisp white , a definite statement in modern style.
More stunning colour from Steve Robinson, this time in rich emerald greens and black. The colours flow down to the black bench top to tie the look together.
In complete contrast, I love the use of the original brick wall in this kitchen as the back drop for the work area. Not sure how it would be in a practical sense, however it looks fabulous.
I love these glossy traditional tiles, the colour is so fresh and picks up the wall colour above. Perfect for the coastal home or farmhouse.
Contemporary elegance in this kitchen, with a blend of timber veneer and mosaic tiles in a subtle mix of grey and neutral tones.
Fresh and clean is the best way to describe these Beautiful tall flowers embossed on the white glass. Country style, with the elegant tapware, herbs and timber trims. Perfect!
Intricate pressed metal splashback is a trend that has been brought back into homes from an era past. Perfect for any home with a country or heritage feel.
Retro colour to liven up any kitchen! Love the teal tones , so fresh and a great contrast against the other primary colours.
This kitchen is the ultimate in sophistication and style. Soft, subtle tones, with beautiful veneer and the milky white glass splashback. Very 2013.
The possibilities are endless when it comes to splashbacks, essentially any colour you can paint you can have as your splashback – but I also love the other options, those with texture and originality….. Let me know what you think!
